Elder Michelle Robinson is wife to Apostle Jeffrey Robinson, and mother to Arielle. She is one of 194 elders at the Family Christian Center in Munster, Indiana, under Pastor Steven K. Munsey. She is the Administrator of The People’s Helpers Ministry, a counseling team of elders for the church since 2013. She also assists in the training and appointment of new elders at FCC. She previously served at The Sweet Holy Spirit Church (1993-2012), under the tutelage of Bishop Larry D. Trotter. She is a firm believer in education beyond where you can see yourself. She has served in many capacities during her tenure as Lead Servant of an Intercessory Prayer Ministry, Night-watch Healing/Deliverance Ministry, Teacher of New Members classes, School of Ministry, Ministerial Alliance, and the Christian Education Department. She has also assisted in training new ministers for catechism and ordination.
Elder Michelle has taught parishioners in the areas of Spiritual Warfare, Discovering Your Spiritual Giftedness, Living the Victorious Life, and Being a Vessel of Honor, and she is a preacher of the Gospel. She has availed herself to work with other ministries in visiting the sick, feeding and clothing those in need, and prison ministry. She truly stands on the Word of God found in the Gospel of John 4:34: “My nourishment comes from doing the will of God who sent me and finishing His work.” She believes one’s passion is directly tied to one’s area of giftedness. She has a desire to see the needs of women met through deliverance from mental/emotional/physical abuse, generational curses, hurts and pain. Flowing from her passion, she has earned a bachelor’s in Christian Counseling, master’s in Biblical Studies, Ph.D., in Christian Counseling, and is currently pursuing a second master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling for professional licensure in Illinois and Indiana. More than anything else, Elder Michelle’s greatest accomplishment is giving her life to Christ at age eight by water baptism and declaring Him Lord of her life by a renewed commitment and baptism in the Holy Spirit in 1991.
The writing of her first book, “Why Hast The Mighty Fallen?” encouraged and motivated Dr. Robinson to pursue her second master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is currently on staff as a clinical intern at Nexus Counseling Services under the direct supervision of a licensed therapist. She avails herself for those who seek counseling for a variety of issues.
